THE PALMOLIVE GIRL
During the early 1900s, Palmolive was the world’s best-selling soap. In the name of public health (and also increasing its number of users per family), Palmolive issued posters showing children as happy and healthy users of its product. Today, we thank Palmolive for its efforts to promote the virtues of handwashing.
