Ohio Department of Health (ODH) – Provides all forms necessary for plan review, equipment replacement, licensing, weekly reporting, and VGB compliance. ODH also maintains the lists for approved paint colors, automatic chemical controllers, and lifeguard training agencies (including First Aid and CPR). Product recall information is also posted on the website.
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) – A clearing house of educational information related to health and safety in aquatic settings. The CDC provides a variety of posters, brochures, and other printable material that can be downloaded.
U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) – Pool Safely – A wide variety of safety tips, information, news stories and videos for families, pool operators, media outlets and public officials. Detailed information on the Virginia Graeme Baker Pool and Spa Safety Act can be found on this website. Recall notices are also posted on the CPSC site as needed.
