What is a public health nuisance?
A public health nuisance is a condition on a property that threatens or potentially threatens the health, safety, or well-being of the public.
Our role
- Respond to public health nuisance complaints
- Offer resources
- Provide education about potential nuisances and prevention
Examples of a public health nuisance
- Accumulation of trash and garbage on a property
- Infestation of rodents, insects, or other pests
- Sewage on a property

Reporting a Nuisance
Report a nuisnace to us through the “Contact Us” tab on our Home Page or by clicking on this link.
Our jurisdiction does not include the City of Cleveland. This means that our staff cannot respond to specific complaints in that area.
