We present this report annually to educate our various constituencies about the contributing causes of child fatalities in Cuyahoga County. Professionals, from educators to health and social service experts, consider the research, data and trends within the context of their own mission to keep children safe and families thriving. While the application of the information presented in this report may differ from one audience to another, the message remains the same: our community is committed to preventing child fatalities.
Nearly 600 organizations currently provide breast health services in Northeast Ohio. Within those vast resources, however, exists a puzzling disconnect -- women aren’t accessing the resources.

This public health surveillance report (released in August 2011) by the Cleveland Department of Public Health describes diagnoses for all syphilis cases (total syphilis) and the most acute phases, primary and secondary, reported among Cuyahoga County and Cleveland residents occuring in 2010.
