Cuyahoga County Medical Reserve Corps: Events

We are excited to offer a unique training opportunity for Red Cross, MRC, CERT and other volunteers who will be expected to interact with people with access and functional needs in a shelter or during a Point of Dispensing (POD)
This will be a series of sessions, approximately once a month. The first session is scheduled for Monday, May 7, starting at 6:30 PM and ending no later than 8:30 PM.
The first session will be at the Cuyahoga County Board of Health, 5550 Venture Drive, Parma 44130.
Also, the following counties will host a distance learning option within their county: Ashtabula, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, and Medina.
You may choose to attend at the location nearest you or attend the live presentation in Cuyahoga County.
The first presenter at this session will explain the reasons to address the needs of all community members when volunteering in a shelter or a POD. The second presenter will discuss issues of etiquette when interacting with people with access and functional needs. Our presenters for the May session will be from LEAP (Linking, Employment, Abilities and Potential).
Please register no later than Friday, May 4.
