Upcoming Functional Needs Sessions
The training series is designed for Red Cross, MRC, CERT and other volunteers who will be expected to interact with people with access and functional needs in a shelter or during a Point of Dispensing (POD)
Session #10 – People with Dementia in Disasters
Tuesday, December 10, 2013, 6:30 – 8:30 at the Cuyahoga County Board of Health.
Our presenter, Linda Bliss, RN, Nurse Liaison at Kemper House, will provide information about people with dementia, including “normal” behavior and validation techniques.
The live presentation will be at the Cuyahoga County Board of Health, 5550 Venture Drive, Parma 44130.
Ashland County, Ashtabula County and Medina County will host distance learning sites in their counties.
