This project is a continuation of the CEMAG ODNR Mill Creek Community Assessment Project that
was just completed September 30, 2006. This project is to develop a Watershed Action Plan for the
Mill Creek Watershed from the information obtained on the Community Assessment Report. This
project is for the period of 10/1/2006 through 6/30/2007. The CCBH is the lead agency for this
grant program. This project addresses water quality planning for the entire Mill Creek Watershed on
water resources, nonpoint source pollution, and water quality in general. The following is a list
of the objectives for this project:
1. To develop a Watershed Action Plan for the Mill Creek Watershed.
2. To re-develop the Mill Creek Watershed Partnership and provide educational outreach
to all of the communities located in the Mill Creek Watershed about storm water impacts.
The Cuyahoga County Board of Health is collaboratively working on this project with a number of
agencies. The Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District and the Cuyahoga River RAP are the main
collaborators on this project.
