ServicesThe St. Luke's Foundation provided a grant from 2002-2005 that made it possible for Public Health Nurses to provide Shaken Baby Syndrome education to staff on Labor and Delivery units, police, and prosecutors. Trained Labor and Delivery nurses presented prevention education to new parents. The program reached more than 1,700 nurses, providers, police, and prosecutors in Cuyahoga County. The program provides free education to students in the Polaris Career Center, Euclid and East Cleveland Schools. Free education is also available as an in-service for childcare providers.
