Fatherhood program
Fathers Matter!
The fatherhood program address barriers to father involvement to help ensure that all children in Cuyahoga County grow with two loving and involved parents in their lives. Training is available for area agencies, prenatal providers, hospitals, childcare settings, colleges of nursing/nursing schools and service providers. Special attention is focused on father friendly teaching styles and messages, co-parenting and paternity issues. Program Goals
Prevent Premature FatherhoodThe purpose of this program is to focus on prevention of premature fathering and drive home the message of the importance of reaching young boys and their parents prior to fatherhood. This pilot program targets the communities of Hough, Euclid, Parma and Clark-Fulton with outreach to young teens 12-17 with education wrapped in after school events.
