FOLLOWING IS A LIST OF
TYPICAL POSITIONS:
Sanitarian-in-training/Public Health Sanitarian (full-time)
Minimum requirements
-Bachelor Degree, including a minimum of 45 quarter units or 30 semester units of science
courses from an accredited college or university and/or eligible for Ohio Sanitarian Registration.
A valid driver's license.
Public Health Nurse (full-time/part-time)
Minimum requirements
-Must be licensed registered nurse pursuant to section 4723.13 of Revised Code.
Valid driver's license. Experience preferred.
Licensed Practical Nurse (part-time)
Minimum requirements
-Requires valid Practical Nurse License issued by State of Ohio and 1 course in general
hospital practices & procedures (or 1 month experience).
Public Health Aide (part-time)
Minimum requirements
-Ability to add, subtract, multiply & divide whole numbers & to read & write
common vocabulary plus: 1 course or 3 mos. training &/or experience in public relations, or
equivalent. Valid driver's license.
Dietitian (full-time)
Minimum requirements
-Current licensure to practice dietetics issued by Ohio Board of Dietetics per Section
4759.06 of Revised Code.
Case Management Specialist (full-time)
Minimum requirements
-Completion of undergraduate major program core requirements in rehabilitation, or social
work or mental health & retardation technology as required by university or college and 12
months experience.
Health Educator (full-time)
Minimum requirements
-Completion of undergraduate major core coursework in health education & 6 months
experience in assisting in &/or developing health education programs (or 3 years experience in
developing health education programs &/or preparation & delivery of health education
literature &/or presentations); or equivalent.
Various clerical positions (full-time):
- Secretaries
- Data Entry Operators
- Telephone Operators
- Word Processors
All positions may have additional requirements
. Additional requirements such as a college degree from an accredited college or
university or more experience in a particular position.
