Hello All!

We are asking everyone in the Greater Cleveland area to support and VOTE for the Kaboom efforts in East Cleveland! The city was recently awarded National Recognition from Kaboom as a "Playful City USA".  The City, in partnership the Cuyahoga County Board of Health and East Cleveland City School District submitted an application to be recognized. With this recognition, the city is eligible for additional funding opportunities!  As one of the Nation's 31 Playful Cities, East Cleveland will be competing for this round of funding ($25,000) to support their agenda for play.  The project we have selected is to build a playground, learning center & garden across from Mayfair Elementary school!  This grant application required us to create a video demonstrating why East Cleveland is a "Playful City".  The kids and teachers of Shaw High School were extremely instrumental in creating this video! NOW we must Rally our community to vote for the video online! Every vote counts!!! You don't have to be an East Cleveland resident to vote! The total number of online votes East Cleveland receives, counts towards 30% of the application score!  To support our effort for this endeavor, we are encouraging everyone in the Greater Cleveland area to VOTE for East Cleveland's video!   To Vote PLEASE READ the INSTRUCTIONS BELOW!  If you need assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me.  The voting period has begun and will end on Dec. 21st, 2007.  Please cast your vote for the City of East Cleveland and help make a difference!
