Safe Sleep Campaign

On June 16, 2009 representatives from Cuyahoga County and the City of Cleveland joined together to announce a campaign to promote safe sleep practices for infants.  Twenty two Greater Cleveland infants died in 2008 from unsafe sleep practices.   Infant deaths from unsafe sleeping environments are largely preventable, but knowledge of these practices needs to be expanded.
