Welcome to our website. These pages are designed to give residents and visitors quick access to information about the city and the services it offers. Among other things, you'll find contact information for employees and elected officials, city financial reports, as well as weekly lists of meetings and upcoming events and job opportunities. Residents and businesses can also pay their City taxes via our new Tax Connect website. We welcome your comments and suggestions.

Suddenly the Holiday Season is upon us. The hustle and bustle begins
with Thanksgiving and gathers momentum with each passing day as Christmas approaches. With all the excitement and anticipation, we hope that you will take time to join the City of Brook Park and celebrate the 2008 Holiday Season. Our annual parade and holiday decoration lighting will take place on Sunday, November 30th. Step-off for the parade will be at 4:30 p.m. from Brookgate Shopping Center. We will travel south on Smith Road to Sylvia, west down Sylvia through City Hall’s parking lot and end at the Recreation Center.
Look for new and exciting features and activities to the event as well as some of the old favorites. Most of the activities will be moved inside of the Recreation Center so please make note because the traffic flow through the building will change. These changes will hopefully bring better access to all of the activities we will be offering. As in the past, your child will be able to visit with Santa and receive a photo and a special gift. Photos have gone digital so there will be a short delay in picking up your pictures.
Once again, Magic Bob will stop by to create his unusual balloon animals.
Along with Magic Bob, the Boosters will be supplying hot chocolate and cookies in the Snack Bar, Ford Middle School’s Builders Club will be doing face painting, members of our Seniors Club will be helping with a holiday craft, and the showing of holiday movie will take place in the Community Room. Making a return visit will be the Rosewood Carriage Service. They will be participating in the parade and then they will be providing horse drawn carriage rides throughout the Municipal Campus to allow you the opportunity to view the holiday lighting displays.
We are very excited this year to be featuring Billy Motts. Billy is a local juggler who has been featured on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and Good Morning America as the only entertainer to juggle fire while doing Dance Dance Revolution. He will be performing this act in the Main Gym of the Recreation Center and we hope that you can stop by to
see him. Also new this year will be the ever-popular inflatables. They will be set up in the Mini Gym along with games and prizes for the children.
There will be a lot to see and do at the 2008 Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting Event. The Mayor along with City Council hope that you will take a break from your hectic holiday season and join us for this heartwarming holiday event as well as all of the other holiday
programs the City will be offering.
