Every woman 40 years of age and older should have a yearly mammogram. Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) is the most common cause of cervical cancer. Smoking increases the risk for breast and cervical cancer.
If you don’t have insurance but need screening services, contact the Breast & Cervical Cancer Project (BCCP), a screening and diagnostic testing program for women 40 and older.
If you need health insurance, you can apply online at www.Ohioforhealth.org or call 1-800-648-1176. For other resources, please go to the bottom of this page. Click here for helpful health care access information and how to navigate!
If you are not sure if BCCP can pay for your services, please call and ask our staff. The BCCP staff must make all appointments.
